One of the PBS Irish Tenors, McDermott is a lifelong champion of veterans’ causes and founder of Toronto’s McDermott House Canada, which is committed to providing a home-like environment and quality care for veterans, military, first responders and their families in the final stages of a terminal illness. The first McDermott House opened in Washington, D.C. in 1995.
The tournament will include lunch, a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start, tournament contests, post-play cocktails and dinner under the stars, and a performance by McDermott for $250 per player. For more information, call 239-949-4700.
